In Loving Memory
Jeremy "Jerry" Considine sadly passed away on December 20th 2025 at the age of 70, after a long and brave fight against cancer.
Early Life
Jerry was born on October 10th 1955 in Nairobi, Kenya.
He went to school initially in Kenya, and then to Plymouth College in the UK.
From there, he went to university at Selwyn College, Cambridge, studying Modern Languages.
Life and Career
On graduation from university, he almost immediately moved to Holland to be with his girlfriend later wife.
He made a life in Holland, becoming a specialist in trade mark law, retained by major international companies.
He leaves behind his 2nd wife, Parastoo, his children Ian, Karen and Linda and his stepdaughter Soha, along with 4 grandchildren.
Legacy
Jerry will be most remembered for his determination to succeed and never give up.
He overcame moving from his chidlhood environment in Kenya to a daunting boarding school, Plymouth College in the UK, alone and almost unsupported, before his mother left Kenya also to set up home in the UK.
He changed country again to build a life in Holland, where he remained for 50 years.
A workaholic, always optimistic, always ambitious, always creative, even if many projects subsequently lost traction.
When he contracted a serious form of cancer, he never gave in, fighting it for 10 years, despite the impact on his health and ability to work.
He defied the odds, and secured years more time with his family.
He remained determined right up to the end.
